I was actually out of the house for most of the day for the first time since Ben left. I took a class called LINKS; for those who don't know what I'm talking about, LINKS stands for Lifestyle, Insight, Networking, Knowledge and Skills. It's basically a class that teaches everything from rank to reading an LES to places in the community to volunteer. It's actually the second time I've taken the class; the first time was not long after we moved to SC. I know - a lot of you are thinking, "You've been married for almost nine years...don't you know all that stuff already?" Part of the reason I went this time was because I'm thinking of volunteering with the program, and I knew that one of the first things they'd tell me is that I need to take the class again.
LINKS actually gave me the subject of today's daily picture:
This is the goody bag that we got when we finished the class. It had all kinds of information in it, plus a few magnets (which I'm sure Ben will just be overjoyed to hear about...lol).
I hope everyone remembers to spring their clocks forward tonight (as if I wasn't already having enough issues remembering the time difference). Good night, all...I'll be back on day 25!!
