Day 16

Today's been interesting.  First, the bus came 15 minutes or so early this morning.  As a result, I ended up driving four kids to school - Gabriel, a neighbor's son that comes over every morning to walk up to the bus stop with us, and another neighbor's two boys that happened to be walking to the bus stop at the same time we were this morning.  Hopefully it was just a substitute driver and this doesn't become the norm - we'll have to keep an eye out early on Monday to make sure they didn't change the schedule and not tell anyone.

When I got home, I discovered that our internet wasn't working.  After spending over an hour on the phone with our service provider, I did some playing around and discovered that the coax cable running from the outlet to the modem was bad.  So, I spent a while moving our network setup from my desk to Ben's desk to accomodate the shorter piece of cable that I had to use to replace the bad cable.

Thankfully, the rest of the day was relatively uneventful.  Tomorrow, we have a birthday party to attend.  It'll be fun to get out of the house and see friends (and to have something besides my kids and my cats to take pictures of...lol).

Speaking of pictures of the cats...some things I ordered from Amazon came today.  Harley decided the box was a perfect place to sit:
