Day 15

Today was a good day.  I went out and did some shopping after I got the kids off to school.  I got a present for a birthday party we're going to this weekend, some things for Ben, and various other odds and ends.  I came back home and played around on the computer til the kids got home.

Just as I was trying to figure out what to make for dinner, Lacy (my next door neighbor) sent me a message and asked if we wanted to come over to their house for dinner and cookies.  Never one to turn down free food and adult company, off we went.  We had some pizza and cookies, played some cards, and shot the breeze for a while.  It's really nice to have good neighbors, especially with Ben gone.

Today's picture is from our trip next door.  This is our neighbors' dog, Harley (not to be confused with our cat Harley...lol):

He was in his bed pouting because we weren't sharing our pizza with him.  Actually, he did get some pizza from his dad, but not as much as he wanted.

That's all I really have to write about today.  So, I shall return again on Day 16!
