Day 14

Wow...two weeks already.  Technically, we still have about seven hours til it's officially two weeks - but I don't feel like being technical today...lol.

Today was a total lazy day.  The kids were out of school because the teachers had a 'professional development' day.  Unfortunately, the weather was pretty icky today, so they didn't really get to go out and enjoy their freedom.  On the good side, Ben was able to call again so he could talk to the little twerps.  With the time difference, it's hard for him to be able to call when the kids are home...they're at school from approximately 5:00pm to 1:00am his time.  We think Gabriel likes the idea of talking to Daddy more than the actual conversation; once I handed him the phone, he didn't want to talk very long.

Taryn and I made a command level decision today.  Once a week, our picture is going to be of their deployment chains, just to show how much they're growing.  So, here they are as of the end of day 14:

It's amazing how much bigger they look with only 8 more links than they had in the last picture.  I know that eventually I'm probably going to have to take these pictures from across the room to fit the whole chain.

That's about it for the day...see everyone on day 15!!
